Five works from the Pair/Pairs series were selected by curator Riana Gideon to be included in the virtual exhibition, MIRROR/IMAGE. The digital exhibition includes works that investigate reflection, meditation, duality, or likeness, and explore topics of family history, personal identity, current events, societal conventions, and spirituality.
Project 1612: Studio Visit
Honored to be included in the Project 1612 Studio Visit project! Project 1612 is an independent artist-run space and micro-residency located in Central Illinois. The project was co-founded in Peoria, IL in August 2015 by Jessica Bingham, Zach Ott, and Alexander Martin and originally existed within the detached garage at the home of Jessica and Zach. The micro-residency is 4-5 days and artists’ end their time with an exhibition that is open to the public. During Covid-19, they expanded their digital platform to include studio visits internationally!

I am super excited to announce my first solo exhibition will open June 22nd at Garis & Hahn in LA! The exhibition will include new bodies of work - One Word Poems, Text Cutouts, Palettes, and Hues - and will include my first large-scale installation of embroideries.

In 2017 I was asked to participate as at Artspace artist on the new Samsung TV The Frame. It’s still going strong and I’m so excited that people are loading my work onto their TVs to enjoy in their homes!
Kickstarter Make 100 Coloring Collaboration Project Launched!
So excited to participate in the Kickstarter Make100 Project again this January! For 2019 I’ve created a coloring series so backer can become collaborator. Based on my Text Photograph series, the main rewards are color-in poster prints, and I’m also offering up some other fun items as well. Check out my project page for more details!
