Emily Hoerdemann is a Los Angeles based artist.
Her practice includes analog collage, painting, & photography that explores the contradictions and complications presented by the representation of the American Dream, the evolution of memory, and to critique the art market.
She received her BFA in painting and photography from Bradley University (Peoria, IL), and a Masters in Contemporary Art from Sotheby’s Institute of Art (New York, NY). Emily’s works are in numerous private collections, have been featured in the LA Times and Forbes, are included on The Frame art tv by Samsung, and have been exhibited in New York, Chicago, London, and Los Angeles.
